If your clients have a severe mental health condition, personal support is incredibly important for their recovery. We understand this, and it’s why we have a dedicated care team to support our members throughout and beyond psychiatric treatment. So, whatever they might face, they won’t go through it alone.
One-to-one, tailored support from a personal Dedicated Case Manager throughout a member’s treatment and up to three-months post discharge.
Case Managers support all aspects of the member’s claim, from sorting invoices to finding the right clinics for their care.
Members have access to their Case Manager via a dedicated phone line or email service.1
From how the process works to the role of our Dedicated Case Managers, this guide is designed to give you all the information you need to explain the Psychiatric Case Management service to your clients.
Our dedicated psychiatric case management service is available for members who are on our Global or Islands Health Plans, and who have been referred for inpatient or day-care psychiatric treatment.
Members can receive up to 100 days of inpatient psychiatric treatment to support them with their mental health needs. This limit is not dependent on how long they have health cover with us.
1. The contact details for the Dedicated Case Manager will be provided to the member at the point of referral.
