To help SME employees make the most from their new AXA plan, we’ve been offering them a welcome call within their first few weeks of membership.
Since we began piloting this service in December 2020, employees have been benefitting from a personalised call to help get off to a flying start with their plan.
What happens on the welcome call?
During the welcome call, one of our friendly advisors will give an overview of the group’s chosen policy - inclusive of any benefits - and highlight the reasons that we may ask for more information when they make a claim. Doing this helps employees to understand the benefits of their policy, and learn how best to use it.
The advisor will also cover:
- Details of their online account, and how to make a claim online
- What clinical support services we can offer them
- Information on claiming and underwriting
- Covid-19 and details of what we will and won’t cover
- Benefit limits and an understanding of how the excess works (where applicable)
- Additional benefits covered by the policy, like how to engage with our Virtual Doctor service
Calls are wrapped up with a Q&A session, so employees can feel reassured their questions will be answered. And in the event an employee has a question they’d rather ask of us in private, we’re still able to offer an individual call back service to accommodate them.
